Held every Saturday morning at the Education Campus in town, the Margaret River Farmers’ Markets are one of my favourite farmers markets in Western Australia. I love that you meet the producer, have a chat and ask questions like what they feed their chickens or how they use celeriac in dishes.
Tip #1: Bring and empty stomach – there are so many yummy smoothies, breakfast rolls, pastries and other goodies on offer
From gluten free goodies to artisan pastries, free range eggs and gourmet quail eggs, organic meat, fresh seafood, freshly harvested tomatoes, pumpkin, zucchini, onions, potatoes, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, you can do your weekly shop easily at the Farmers’ Market.
Tip #2: If you are driving to Margaret River, be sure to bring an esky with you so you can get your farmers’ market produce home in good condition
Here’s a photo gallery to show you some of the awesome stalls at the Farmers’ Markets. They make me want to live in Margaret River even more (if that was even possible).

Be sure to book into a winery lunch while you are in Margaret River. Some of my favourite places are Aravina Estate, Cullen Winery, Hayshed Hill, and Vasse Felix.
